We have made a donation to a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities and autism, based near our Ravenden Park development in Graze Hill, Bedfordshire.
The charity, Living it Up, was founded in 2009 and provides social and educational opportunities to adults with learning disabilities and autism in and around Bedfordshire.
Some of the initiatives run by the charity include the performing arts centre which allows users to learn and showcase creative and performing arts, Gig Buddies which pairs adults with learning disabilities or autism with a DBS-checked volunteer who accompanies them to a social activity or gig, and GR8 Mates which is the charity’s new friendship and relationships project.
The donation comes as part of our Quintessentially Community Focused programme, which sees us giving back to charities in the communities it operates in.
Our contribution will be used to support the planning and production of the organisation’s annual theatre show.
