Mulberry Homes donates £250 to Northamptonshire care home a part of our Quintessential Living pledge

We are proud to have donated £250 to a care home based near our Steeple View Chase development in Irchester, Northamptonshire.

Acacia Lodge Care Home is a family-owned operation with an aim to create the best environment for healthy ageing and bring joy to residents through meaningful interactions and activities.

The donation comes as part of our Quintessentially Community Focused programme, which sees us give back to charities in the communities we operates in. The funds will be used towards important equipment for the facility.

Monica Patel at Acacia Lodge Care Home, said: “Thank you Mulberry Homes for your kind donation of £250. It brings the total raised from our Summer Fete to £918. We could not have done it without your contribution. The raised funds will be put towards purchasing a shower trolley. The Shower Trolley will allow our residents who are bed bound the option to have a bath. It is specifically designed for easy transfers and access for a carer, making bathing as straightforward as possible for both resident and caregiver. Thank you again from Acacia Lodge Care Home.”

Kerry Jones, Sales and Marketing Director at Mulberry Homes, said: “Giving back to the communities we build in is a core part of our values at Mulberry Homes. We are delighted to make this donation to Acacia Lodge Care Home and hope that it allows them to continue to do their excellent work caring for the elderly in our community, with the respect, attention and attentiveness they deserve.”

As part of Quintessentially Community Focused, charities and public organisations local to our developments are invited to apply to receive a one-off donation of £1 to £1,000, which can be used to help enhance the local community or environment or provide a charitable service.
