We have sponsored the Rayne Primary and Nursery School’s Summer Fete, as part of its Quintessentially Community Focused charity initiative.
Taking place on Saturday 24th June at the school from 1pm to 4pm, the Summer Fete has been organised by the Rayne Parent Staff Association (PSA), and will include a range of activities and games for children to enjoy, such as a bouncy castle, train rides, a coconut shy and a crafts stall, as well as street dance and karate performances.
There will also be a Pimms tent, food and shopping stalls and a raffle, where attendees can win a range of prizes, from £200 in cash to a £100 Amazon voucher.
Our donation will help fund the food stall at the event, and comes as the housebuilder’s Mulberry Homes at Braintree development is situated just over one mile away on Rayne Road.
This year, the PSA are raising funds to replace the school’s interactive whiteboards and class computers. In 2022, the event raised over £4,100, which went towards supporting whole school projects.

“Being able to purchase new interactive whiteboards and computers will hugely impact our children’s learning, helping them to focus and interact with their lessons, and provide many additional resources which are not currently available on the old systems.
“Every bit of support we receive makes a huge difference to our children’s school experience, and we really appreciate the donation from Mulberry Homes. We are so excited to host our Summer Fete, and can’t wait to make it a day for the local community to remember.”
