We have donated to the Houlton Events Team’s Family Fun Day, as part of our Quintessentially Community Focused charity scheme.
The Houlton Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday 10th June, 11am to 6pm, on Houlton Football Field. The event will allow residents to get together and socialise, whilst enjoying live music, sports and games, a dog show, a martial arts and dance display, and a variety of stalls. Many stalls will be selling products or have traditional fun fair games to raise money for local charities and community groups.
Our donation will hire a range of activities on the day, including mini golf, a basketball shootout, inflatable darts and archery, skittles, giant Connect 4 and giant Kerplunk.
The Family Fun Day is taking place near to the brand-new Mulberry Homes at Houlton, a stunning development of 147 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, surrounded by acres of green space. The site is part of the large-scale Houlton development, which is being delivered by Urban&Civic in partnership with Aviva Investors and is home to a vibrant, expanding community.
Danielle Worden of the Houlton Events Team said: “The Houlton Events Team are arranging the first ever Family Fun Day and we are so pleased that Mulberry Homes, as one of the newest developers in Houlton, have supported us to deliver what we hope will be an event to bring all the community together. The day will have things to buy, eat, drink, play and watch, and be a great day for all the family.”

Quintessentially Community Focused invites charities and public organisations local to Mulberry Homes’ developments to apply to receive a one-off donation of £1 to £1,000, which can be used to help enhance the local community or environment, or provide a charitable service.
