Luxury housebuilder Mulberry Homes has donated £350 to sponsor a local community music festival in Kettering, as part of its Quintessentially Community Focused charity scheme.
The North Northamptonshire Music Festival is set to take place on Saturday 10th June near the housebuilder’s Steeple View Chase development in Irchester, with Mulberry Homes’ donation allowing the organisers to prepare for the big day.
The event will take the form of a competition open to soloists and groups across a range of different singing styles, and will allow the community to come together in celebration of the talent and dedication found throughout the county.
Joshua Daniel, Organiser for the North Northamptonshire Music Festival, said: “This sponsorship money will help the festival run, it is a completely self-funded event, and it relies heavily on support from the community and local businesses such as Mulberry Homes, and we have been overwhelmed with the generosity shown.
“Thank you to Mulberry Homes for sponsoring this event and for giving future generations a platform to perform and compete, and for allowing the North Northamptonshire Music Festival to continue to thrive in 2023.”

The donation forms part of the housebuilder’s new charity campaign, called Quintessentially Community Focused. As part of the scheme, charities and public organisations local to Mulberry Homes’ developments are invited to apply to receive a one-off donation of £1 to £1,000, which can be used to help enhance the local community or environment, or provide a charitable service.
