We’ve teamed up with For Men To Talk this World Mental Health Day

In honour of World Mental Health Day, on Monday 10th October, we’ve joined forces with men’s mental health charity For Men To Talk to provide some advice.

For Men To Talk is a Bedfordshire charity that gives men suffering with anxiety, depression and grief the chance to openly talk about mental health, provide support for other members and improve their wellbeing.

This year, the theme for World Mental Health Day is ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority’. The awareness day is all about encouraging people to make their mental health a top priority, and to help make the world a kinder place.

Luke Newman, Director of For Men To Talk, said: “It’s always important to take care of yourself, and develop your own mental health brick by brick. Assemble your mental health by talking to your friends, family and peers. Simply having a conversation about how you’re feeling is the first step to building up your mental health and improving your overall wellbeing.”

At Mulberry Homes, we have proudly donated a total of £2,400 to For Men To Talk over the last two years. To find out more about the group and the meetings they run, visit http://www.formentotalk.co.uk/.
