We’re celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by contributing to resident’s street parties

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is right around the corner, and we are marking the occasion by contributing to street parties on our developments.

Celebrations are set to take place across the country from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June to commemorate the 70-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

Street parties are one of the most popular ways people celebrate royal events but they can be costly to organise, which is why we invited residents who were planning a street party to get in touch with us for monetary support.

In total, residents from six different developments across the country requested funding, and each received a donation to go towards party expenses, such as food, decorations and entertainment.

The Mulberry-sponsored street parties will take place at Meadow View Fields in Northamptonshire, The Templars in Warwickshire, Launton Mews in Oxfordshire, and Brunswick Gate & Manor Heath in Bedfordshire.

Kerry Jones, Sales and Marketing Director at Mulberry Homes, said: “We wish all of our residents a happy Jubilee and hope that they all have a wonderful time at their street parties.

“We value community spirit very highly at Mulberry Homes, and it is something we try to foster at all of our developments. That is why we are delighted to be contributing towards these parties, so our residents can connect with each other during this happy celebration.

We can’t wait to see all the festivities in full swing, tag us on our social media accounts!”.
