The Greensand Country Festival is in full swing and as Key Festival Sponsor we are delighted to see the signage in situ and events taking place across Bedfordshire.
Across May, Bedfordshire locals can enjoy and celebrate the breath-taking Greensand Country landscape, which is defined by the Greensand Ridge. The festival is designed to encourage those who live within the area to get outside and explore the outstanding countryside in a sustainable way.
As part of the festival, local businesses, councils, social groups, charities, landowners and more come together and organise a diverse range of inclusive and fun activities.
From walks, cycle routes and horse rides to outdoor yoga, wellbeing talks and live music, there’s something for all ages and interests. A range of hotels, eateries and independent shops are also dotted along the landscape, as well as attractions and tourist hotspots, including the Leighton Buzzard Railway, Woburn Abbey and Woburn Safari Park.
