Luxury homebuilder Mulberry Homes has donated a set of gardening kits to a school based near its Badwell Ash development in Suffolk, for pupils to enjoy as part of National Children’s Gardening Week (Saturday 24th May to Sunday 1st June).
Mulberry Homes at Badwell Ash is situated off Hunston Road and providing a collection of 34 private three and four-bedroom homes, in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
National Children’s Gardening Week is an awareness campaign that aims to celebrate the fun that gardens hold for children and encourage their curiosity for the outdoors during the warmer weather.
The gardening kits were given to the students of Walsham-le-Willows Primary School, who will use them to plant seeds on the school grounds.
Julie Pascoe at Walsham-le-Willows Primary School said: “The children are enjoying working with the tools and are looking forward to planting the seeds and watching how they grow. Thank you so much to Mulberry Homes for their generosity.”
Sophie Leathley, Senior Brand and Marketing Manager at Mulberry Homes, said: “We are delighted to have made this donation to Walsham-le-Willows Primary School. Encouraging a love of the outdoors in young people is incredibly valuable, and we hope all the students enjoy their time using the kits and learning all about how plants grow and develop.”
Badwell Ash is nestled in idyllic rural Suffolk, allowing residents to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside without missing out on modern amenities. The development is within easy reach of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk’s ‘foodie capital’, which offers an extensive range of high-quality eateries. In the opposite direction is the bustling market town of Stowmarket, which is home to a traditional market, a creative arts centre and thriving cinema.
