Luxury homebuilder donates to Essex primary school's appeal
April 24th, 2025

Mulberry Homes has recently donated £1,000 to Feering Primary School’s PTA appeal to help them with their new Thrive building, nearby to the homebuilder’s Kelvedon Rise development.

The donation will help the school construct a new building, named The Thrive Building, which will be a space for Thrive interventions to take place, aim to improve the mental health of students and break down the stigma attached to mental health.

Bridgette Gough, Executive Head at Feering Primary School, said: “The Thrive Building will be a safe and welcoming space for our students and Thrive offers a trauma-informed, whole school approach that helps to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

“Every single pupil is assessed termly and any gaps in a range of focused areas are discovered to allow us to fill them through pre-prepared sessions that can be picked up by our trained Thrive lead.”

Hannah Midwinter, a member of the PTA at Feering Primary School, said: “We are so grateful to Mulberry Homes for providing such a generous donation. We are a small primary school and work really hard to fundraise so that the children can have the best experience possible.”

Sophie Leathley, Senior Brand and Marketing Manager at Mulberry Homes, said: “We are thrilled to donate to Feering Primary School and help them work towards their goal of The Thrive Building.

“At Mulberry Homes, supporting the local communities where we build is incredibly important to us, and we are proud to help support the local groups for people who call these areas home.”

Mulberry Homes’ Kelvedon Rise is located off Coggeshall Road and consists of a stunning collection of just 35 two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Kelvedon is located right off the A12, and Kelvedon Train Station is situated on the Great

Eastern Main Line, with a direct link between Ipswich and London Liverpool Street. The

location is perfect for homebuyers who enjoy the peace of countryside living with the ease of mass transport.

Kelvedon has walking paths, high street shopping and plenty of pubs and restaurants for

residents to enjoy. The village also has multiple primary and secondary schools for

homebuyers moving in with children.
