\nContinuing the support for the communities in which it builds, Mulberry Homes has made a donation to the Houghton Conquest Village Hall located close to its Houghton Fields development.<\/p>\n

After reaching out to the facility\u2019s committee to see what they were in need of, the local homebuilder made a donation of \u00a3250 to provide funding for the daily operation of the village hall\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Representatives from the Houghton Conquest Village Hall Committee were recently invited to the nearby development to receive the cheque with members of the Mulberry Homes team.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In attendance to present the cheque were Houghton Fields\u2019 Project Manager Greg Driscoll and Sales Advisor Keelan Riley.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Collecting the cheque on behalf of the village hall\u2019s committee were Babs Hill and Christine Dean.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Babs said: \u201cWe were very surprised and pleased to receive the donation from Mulberry Homes. It is very unusual to receive unsolicited donations, as village halls seem to be very low on the list of most companies\u2019 priorities.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cOur Hall is used by many members of the village and surrounding areas; accordingly, these unasked for funds will be put to good use and are very much appreciated by members of our community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kerry Jones, Head of Sales at Mulberry Homes, said: \u201cHoughton Conquest is a beautiful village with a wonderful community spirit and we\u2019re delighted to be able to offer our support to the village hall.<\/p>\n
