This month we will be donating to “Happy Days Children’s Charity” as part of our Distinctly Local 2021 campaign

We’re thrilled to be donating £1000 to Happy Days Children’s Charity as part of our 10-year anniversary celebration, in which we’ve committed to supporting local charities and organisations nearby to our developments throughout 2021.

Based in Hitchin, Happy Days works with local communities to provide vital breaks, holidays and residential trips for children aged three to 17-years-old with additional needs, including learning difficulties, physical or mental disabilities and life limiting illnesses, and children who have been abused, bereaved or act as carers.

Rob Cox, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Happy Days, said: “We really appreciate that there are big challenges for everyone at the moment, and that charity probably isn’t the first thing that people and companies are thinking of, so we’re incredible grateful to have the support of Mulberry Homes during their 10-year anniversary celebrations. On behalf of the many brave children who we’ll be able to help with a special day thanks to your kindness and generosity, a huge thank you!”

This past year has been exceptionally challenging for Happy Days, as due to Government guidelines their day trips and children’s activities would have been hugely affected. We hope that this donation will help to provide many special days out in the future and give these children something to look forward to after such a difficult year.”
