Kingsbury Park, Lutterworth – Mulberry Homes’ Vision 2020 Charity Donation to The Lutterworth and Villages Foodbank

Forming part of Mulberry Homes’ Vision 2020, we are delighted to be donating to The Lutterworth and Villages Foodbank.

Lutterworth & Villages Foodbank provides three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people referred to their service in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, who are working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

The project is facilitated by St. Mary’s Church, Lutterworth, and supported by other local churches, schools, community groups, organisations and businesses – all working together towards stopping hunger in the area. Since the foodbank’s first session at the Church Gate Centre, Lutterworth in January 2014, the project expanded in October 2015 to include a second centre at the Methodist Church hall in Countesthorpe.
