As part of The Mulberry Community Chest, we have donated to NOAH Enterprise

The £1,000 donation will help the organisation’s Welfare Centre provide nutritious meals to over 750 vulnerable individuals and families in Luton.

Maggie Felmingham, Community & Events Fundraising Manager at Noah Enterprise, said:

“The NOAH outreach team work across Luton & Central Bedfordshire searching for rough-sleepers. The aim is to engage with the vulnerable people and get them the help they need and deserve. This first step is often welcoming them into our Welfare Centre. This is where Mulberry Homes’ donation will be benefited most. On any given day up to 100 people will arrive with a variety of needs.

“The Centre provides a safe environment where people can come and discuss their problems. We can provide them with hot food, showers and a laundry service, provision of clothing, medical support, mobile dentistry, accommodation search, mental health support, addiction counselling, and legal support, as well as help with training and employment. Community donations like this are key to the on-going support we provide to local people. Together we can change lives in Luton and help people realise their full potential.”
