We’re thrilled to have donated £200 to Potton Hall for All, nearby to our Market Reach development in Potton.
The donation comes as part of our Christmas Wish campaign, in which we are donating £200 to five charities local to our developments over the festive period.
Potton Hall for All is a charity currently working on building, and eventually running, a community town hall in Potton, providing the community with a great space in which all kinds of activities can take place.
They have collaborated with many local groups and potential users to determine what the community needs and wants, and have employed professionals to design a building which will give Potton residents a range of facilities.
The £200 donation will be used to help promote the project and encourage volunteers and residents to get involved, by updating volunteer materials so that Potton Hall for All stands out at upcoming events, such as the Potton Seasonal Market on 16th December.
Kerry Jones, Sales Director at Mulberry Homes, said: “We’re very proud to have made this donation to Potton Hall for All. The pandemic has been especially challenging for charities, and we hope these funds will offer a huge helping hand in the creation of a brand-new town hall.
“During our Christmas Wish campaign, we are committed to supporting, and forging lasting partnerships with, the communities local to our developments. We’re incredibly proud to be donating to a range of local charities, and bring some festive joy during these difficult times.”
Kim Gutteridge, Trustee of Potton Hall for All, said: “Unfortunately, we’ve been unable to coordinate any fundraising activities this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic and our funds are significantly lower than they would normally be. As well as the build costs, we still need funds to help us promote the project and attract local volunteers to get involved.
“This donation will help sustain our charity so we can help provide Potton with a better community building for lots of great activities. Thank you so much to Mulberry Homes – your support is much appreciated.”
