Our Fundraising Inspires Our Residents and Employees to make Charity Donations

Following our Christmas Wish donations, a resident at our Meadow View Fields development in Moulton and sales executive Sally Wykes have donated a total of £60 to The Salvation Army and Baby Basics Northampton.

A combined £40 went to The Salvation Army from both individuals, and the resident also donated £20 to Baby Basics Northampton.

Our Christmas Wish campaign saw us donate £200 to five charities local to our developments over the festive season.

The Salvation Army aids those suffering with homelessness, modern slavery, poverty and addiction, and supports local communities with issues such as unemployment and isolation, offering a range of activities and services across the UK.

Baby Basics Northampton supports parents and families with new babies across Northamptonshire, and provide Moses baskets made up of essential items for new mums in financial need.

Sally said: “After seeing Mulberry donate to five local charities over Christmas, the resident and myself were inspired to do the same thing. We got talking about how difficult this year has been due to the current pandemic, especially for charities who have been unable to fundraise as much as usual, and felt that donating to them was the right thing to do.

“It’s been lovely supporting these charities during the festive period, and I hope next year they will be able to continue with their vital work and host fundraising events once Government guidelines allow.”
