We’re Delighted to be Supporting Guilsborough Academy

We have proudly donated visualisers to the Guilsborough Academy in Northampton, nearby to our Meadow View Fields development in Moulton.

The visualisers will allow the school to provide teacher-led instruction, that would not otherwise be possible, in virtual classrooms and help to ensure its pupils still receive a high-quality education during the pandemic.

The donation comes as part of our Distinctly Local campaign, in which we donate £200 to two charities or organisations local to our developments each month.

Kerry Jones, Sales Director at Mulberry Homes, said: “We are thrilled to have made this donation to Guilsborough Academy. The pandemic has been especially challenging for students, teachers and school staff, and we hope these visualisers will offer a huge helping hand and help the school adapt in this ‘new normal’.

“A key part of our Distinctly Local campaign is the commitment to strengthening, and forging, last partnerships with the communities local to our developments. We’ve been incredibly proud to continue with our donations all throughout the pandemic.”

Mr S Frazer, Principal at Guilsborough Academy, said: “The visualisers that Mulberry Homes have kindly provided will support us to provide a high-quality virtual curriculum for students that have faced the most challenging of circumstances during the global pandemic.

“Teaching and learning has advanced considerably over the last decade. Yet, the ability to illustrate model answers, work through maths problems and draw visual representations using a traditional whiteboard and pen still forms a pivotal part of modern teaching practice. A visualiser allows us to replicate this fundamental teaching strategy in the virtual realm.

“We are delighted that Mulberry Homes has supported us in the purchase of additional equipment.  The visualisers will help our staff provide high-quality teaching provision to students, despite the current unprecedented circumstances.”
