Mulberry Homes Partners with World Land Trust to Protect Endangered Wildlife

We are delighted to announce that we are working in partnership with World Land Trust (WLT) as part of its Distinctly Local campaign to protect endangered land and wildlife.

We are donating £500 on behalf of customers at is Heathcote Grange development in Leicestershire as part of a £1000 donation to the WLT.

This donation will help WLT to protect important areas of land for the benefit of wildlife for years to come through it’s Buy an Acre programme.

Habitat loss is the greatest threat facing wildlife worldwide and protecting land is the best action to ensure a future for wildlife across the world. This donation will enable five acres of endangered wildlife habitat to be protected in perpetuity.

This pledge is part of the Distinctly Local campaign which is a commitment by Mulberry Homes to sustainability – influencing how it selects new development sites, designs and builds its homes and interacts with its customers, neighbours and local partners.

Kerry Jones, Sales Director at Mulberry Homes said: “It’s a pleasure to be working in partnership with World Land Trust to protect 10 acres of both land and endangered wildlife through it’s Buy an Acre programme.”

Dan Bradbury, Director of Communications and Development at World Land Trust, said: “The donation from Mulberry Homes will help to fund the purchase and protection of critically threatened habitat where WLT works with overseas conservation partners”
